Community Challenge 1 (January): Base of Operations

Every Mandalorian needs a base of operations, we would like to see your idea of the perfect secret base from where you would work to become the number one bounty hunter in the galaxy!

Community Challenge 1: Base of Operations

• Novice: Draw a picture of the best secret base you or any mandalorian could ever want.  Submit photo of your drawing to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

• Journeyman: Using whatever medium you like, Lego’s, Clay, Sticks, etc, build a model of the perfect base for your mandalorian character to work from.  Submit photo of your base model to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

• Expert: Draw a picture of your secret base (same as Novice), create a model of it (same as Journeyman), and write a short description of how your base is set up. What are its defenses? Where do you park your ship?  Weapons?  Submit photo of your base model to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

It’s very important to know where you are with your armor, by knowing where you’re starting from you can proceed with a solid foundation.

• Journeyman Level: It’s a new year and a new Shriekhawk Battalion. With your parents help take a new picture of your current Mandalorian inspired Armor with one updated item and submit it to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

• Expert Level: It’s a new year and a new Shriekhawk Battalion. With your parents help take a new picture of your current Mandalorian inspired Armor with two or more updated items and submit it to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

Charity Challenge 1 (March): Casualty Relief

Not all bounties are tracking down targets and bringing them in, this month your mission is one of relief.

• Novice:  With a parents help gather together some canned food supplies and deliver them to a local food pantry. Take a picture at the drop off and submit it to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and remember to include your Verd’ika forum profile name Name for credit.

• Journeyman:  Same as a the Novice level challenge, except send 2 photos gathering together canned food supplies.  Submit it to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and remember to include your Verd’ika forum profile name Name for credit.

• Expert: Same as a the Novice level challenge, except send 3 photos gathering together canned food supplies and delivery to local food pantry.  Submit it to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and remember to include your Verd’ika forum profile name Name for credit.

Community Challenge 2 (April): Everything Star Wars

Next month is the month of May.  May the Fourth Be With You! Today we celebrate everything Star Wars, what is your favorite part of the Star wars universe?  Is it the books, the movies, the shows, or maybe the toys?

• Novice:  What makes Star Wars your favorite?  Draw a picture to let us know and send it to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

• Journeyman: What makes Star Wars your favorite?  Draw a picture and write a small letter to let us know and send it to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

You can’t let yourself be stranded while chasing down a bounty.

• Novice: Draw a picture of the spaceship you would want to use to chase down your targets. Then submit a picture of it to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

• Journeyman: Craft a model using Legos, clay, or any other building material you like to use, of the spaceship you would want to use to chase down your targets. Then submit a picture of it to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

• Expert: Draw out your spaceship diagram and then build out of Legos, clay, or other building materials of your spaceship.  Submit both a photo of your spaceship diagram drawing and a photo of your model you made to see how close you were able to create.  Submission photos sent to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

Animals come in all shapes and sizes on our planet and throughout the galaxy as well. Many furry friends find themselves in animal shelters.

• Novice:  Your challenge this month is to travel to a local animal shelter and deliver some much needed relief supplies like dog or cat food, cat litter, animal toys, and the like. Make sure you take a picture of the drop off to send to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

• Journeyman:  Your challenge this month is to travel to a local animal shelter and deliver some much needed relief supplies like dog or cat food, cat litter, animal toys, and while there take time to visit with an animal of your choosing while there with a parent. Make sure you take a picture of the drop off to send to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

• Expert:  Your challenge this month is visit your local animal shelter twice and spend some time with a few of the animals with your parent. Make sure you take a picture each time you spend time with these animals and send them to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

Community Challenge 3 (July): Comrades

Sometimes even the best bounty hunters need help, include a friend in your costuming and encourage them to get involved as well because everything is better with friends.

• Journeyman: With help from a parent assist a friend in making a set of Mandalorian armor and encourage them to join the Verd’ika Corps, because everything is better with friends. Send a photos of your costumes to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

• Expert: Find two or more friends who would like to make a set of Mandalorian armor and help them build it with parent supervision, and encourage them to join the Verd’ika Corps, because everything is better with friends. Droids are a huge part of the Star Wars universe.  What droid would you want to have with you as a companion?

• Journeyman: Create your own Companion droid with Legos, 3D printing, clay, or other materials.  Send photo and a short description to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

• Expert: Create a second model of your own Companion droid with Legos, 3D printing, clay, or other materials.  Send both photos and a short description to shriekhawk@verdikacorps.com and include your Verd’ika forum profile name.

As many kids begin to get ready for school it’s time to think about our teachers or mentors.  Where would Obi Wan have been without a great teachers like Qui Gon or mentor like Master Yoda?

October is the month for Star Wars Reads Day.  This month’s mission focuses on your favorite Star Wars book.  What is your all-time favorite Star Wars book to read?  Libraries are great places to find all the information in your galaxy and the galaxy far away.

NOTE: If you own your favorite Star Wars book, go to the library and find a new Star Wars book to read to complete the challenge levels above with that book.
